Femme-ille: A Sustainable Startup Business Model
Duration: 6 Months
Team: 6
I collaborated with a team to create a sustainable business model for Femme-ille, a female entrepreneurship startup that offered an app and a co-working space to our clients. We addressed the societal issue of the underrepresentation of female entrepreneurs and designed a company to encourage the presence and support of women in the business industry. We named the company Femme-ille, combining 'femme' (woman) and 'famille' (family) in French, to symbolize our commitment to a supportive, family-like community for women in business.
I designed our company’s logo and co-designed the presentation and written report. In the report, I developed the sections on the external environment, internal organization, main service, and communication plan. Additionally, I volunteered to present our idea to our professor and peers.
This project was especially meaningful for me and my team, as we are a group of women aspiring to make a difference in the business industry. I had the opportunity to learn so much about what goes into creating a business, considering the market, resources, stakeholders, funding, competitors, and building values and goals, especially with a focus on sustainability. I felt very passionate about this project and am truly proud of what we produced.
