Welcome, I’m Isabella!
I was born and raised in the beautiful city of Austin, Texas. I’m the oldest child of two hardworking, intelligent, supportive parents and the big sister to a super-smart, video-game-loving younger brother. With a Colombian dad and a Mexican-American mom, I like to consider myself a mix of the three cultures, a Colombian-Mexican-American if you will, although until I was 21 I had lived all of my life in the United States.
From a young age, my parents ensured that I was raised surrounded by diverse cultures, backgrounds, and beliefs. At the age of 3, I entered into an international school where I learned French and Spanish and was surrounded by a community from all over the world. During my time there I had the opportunity to travel to France twice before the age of 11, staying with host families and studying at French schools. This is where my interest in the French language and culture was inspired.
When it came time for university in 2021, I decided to pack up and move to Tampa, Florida to pursue a BA in Global Business with a concentration in Marketing. Moving to a state where I didn’t know anyone forced me to adapt and explore outside of my comfort zone. After two and a half years and many memories made in Tampa, I made the life-changing decision to complete my undergraduate studies overseas in a small city in the South of France.
Now, I am officially a college graduate living in Austin, TX with many dreams, goals, and passions that I hope to apply to my future career. I love learning about the world by traveling and experiencing new cultures. I also love photography, fashion, music, editing videos, writing, trying new foods, and meeting new people.
During my life, I want to make a difference. I’d like to accomplish many things, learn every day, check things off my never-ending bucket list, and continue evolving. I am so excited to see what life has in store for me!
